Braces
Braces can help with so many dental issues, including properly aligning teeth, adjusting your bite, helping with crowding, and more. Just as a physician uses medication to treat a patient, an orthodontist uses carefully planned, light forces to guide teeth into alignment. Stainless steel braces are most common and have become smaller, more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing over time – you can even create your own color palette. Other types of braces have also been created to suit individual treatment and aesthetic preferences, too.
Braces shouldn’t change the way you live – you will be able to play an instrument, participate in sports and enjoy your usual daily activities. Let us show you how.

Invisalign®
Invisalign® is an alternative orthodontic treatment to braces and a fundamentally different way to move the teeth. Instead of stainless steel brackets and archwires, Invisalign® offers a series of clear, removable orthodontic aligners to move teeth over time. The technology has become popular for its clear and removable aligners and relative comfort.

Surgical Orthodontics
Sometimes, jaw discrepancies can be quite pronounced. For instance, the upper and lower jaw may be too large or too small and not fit properly with the cranial base. This may require orthognathic surgery, which is a type of surgery that corrects skeletal discrepancies in the bony structures of the teeth and jaws.

For Your Kids
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an initial orthodontic evaluation by age 7. This age is the optimal time to evaluate skeletal development and identify the position of the child’s permanent teeth. Problems like incorrect jaw bone development and other unfavorable bite discrepancies (malocculsions) can be treated or modified at this age as needed and prevent or lessen the need for extensive treatment down the road.

For Your Teens
Realigning a teenager’s teeth creates a beautiful smile and a healthy bite. Orthodontic treatment for teens who need it normally starts around ages 12 to 14, and involves the use of braces or Invisalign® clear aligners to gradually shift position of the teeth, creating a healthier alignment for them and an attractive smile they can carry into adulthood.

For Adults
More and more adults are seeking orthodontic solutions today. With healthy gums and bone structure, teeth can be straightened at any age. Bronsky Orthodontics see all ages of adult patients who are looking for more attractive smiles, healthier oral hygiene, and resolutions for longtime teeth and jaw issues. Treatments may include clear aligners such as Invisalign®, transparent braces, and lingual braces on the inside of the teeth that can make them virtually undetectable.
