We all have passions and causes that are near and dear to our hearts. For Dr. Mark Bronsky, running is as much a passion as is helping children and adults better their health and outlook on life. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to share an opportunity to support a cause that combines both of these passions.
This unique opportunity comes in the form of supporting an athlete named Gab who is training intensively for a 104-mile mountain run in Europe called The North Face Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc.This race involves a number of passages in high altitude, in difficult weather conditions (night, wind, cold, rain or snow), that requires a great deal of training, special equipment and “a real capacity of personal autonomy,” according to the race website.
“Taking on this race requires an impressive dose of will power,” says Dr. Bronsky, New York City orthodontist and avid runner. “What’s even more impressive about Gab’s race is that it is serving as a conduit to raise money for our future generations.”

Jennifer has vast experience in for-profit and non-profit organizations and serves on Jumpstart’s National board. Her first exposure to Jumpstart occurred when she ran a volunteer consulting organization at Harvard and led the team that created Jumpstart’s first growth/replication model. As a founding member of Jumpstart’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Board and its chair for eight years, she has concentrated on grassroots and peer-to-peer fundraising strategies that are designed to help a small non-profit achieve long-term sustainability.
